But we have a stucco inspection service for a reason: it protects you from the shock of an expensive repair and allows you to have control of all negotiations surrounding your home.
Getting reliable answers about the condition of your home is simple with All Florida AmeriSpec.
As Florida’s trusted home inspection provider, we’ve performed more than 100,000 inspections over the last 35 years.
Our licensed and certified inspectors know a thing or two, because they have certainly seen a thing or two.
It is always important to get a stucco inspection done because it can hide moisture even if it looks completely intact and dry. Stucco can trap water behind and between the walls if it wasn’t installed correctly or if it has been damaged. If there is damaged stucco in your home, there could be delays in closing, lower offers, or insurance complications. Small issues can become big ones quickly regarding stucco, especially if left alone for a long time. A small repair could end up costing you thousands of dollars if left unaddressed.
A few of the most noteworthy things we look at in stucco inspections are:
These potential hazards are particularly worrying because it can lead to further, more expensive repairs:
For all of these reasons and more, you’ll want to contact All Florida AmeriSpec to have your stucco inspected.
Our goal is to give you clear, reliable answers about the condition of your home.
To do this, we start by determining whether your stucco is hardcoat or synthetic. If the stucco is synthetic, we will test it with two moisture meters. The first meter determines where possible high moisture levels are inside the wall cavity. The second meter penetrates the surface of the stucco and determines the actual moisture content inside the wall cavity. If the stucco is hardcoat, we will drill two tiny holes into the stucco so that a moisture meter can be inserted to determine moisture levels. For both types, it is necessary to drill small holes into the stucco to conduct the inspections.
We will provide you with a detailed inspection report after the inspector has photographed, noted, and analyzed every piece of the stucco. This report will give you a clear picture of the possible repairs needed and help you understand the condition of your home further, and should help answer any more questions that you may have.
We determine whether your stucco is hardcoat or synthetic so we can use the proper testing method for accurate moisture evaluation.
Using professional moisture meters and small access points, we measure moisture levels inside the wall cavity to identify potential hidden issues.
You’ll receive a comprehensive report with photos, findings, and clear explanations to help you understand your home’s condition and any recommended repairs.
